Welcome to Stem. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stem mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by an independent developer ("Stem", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Stem. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Stem is a platform that helps candidates and companies discover and connect with each other for short-term contract and gig work through a swipe-based matching experience. Stem provides the platform only — we are not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or party to any agreement you enter into with another user. We do not guarantee that you will find work, candidates, matches, or hires.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile details, photos, résumés, messages, etc.). You grant Stem a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the Service — for example, showing your profile to potential matches. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

We provide in-app tools to block and report users, and we may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
Any communication, interview, negotiation, agreement, payment, or working relationship between users is solely between those users. Stem is not responsible for the conduct of any user or the outcome of any engagement arranged through the Service. Exercise your own judgment and due diligence.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any match will result in employment or a successful engagement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stem and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or from interactions with other users.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
